First off, this game was the first game on the Gamecube and I think it is the best out of the rest of the Gamecube. It has new types of games and boards to keep the fun going. Of course the high point of the game is like always the multi player mode since it is the whole reason for playing this game. The single player mode is not really worth mentioning since there is no significance at all towards the game. There are the same characters you’ve seen in the old games on the N64 and provides, just like any other Mario Party game, hours of fun gameplay. The problem with this game is that there was really no difference transitioning to the Gamecube it felt like playing fight on the N64 again. Also…. this was the last time you could play as DK which, well for me, was very dissapointing… Dang you Hudson.
In the end I gave it a 7 for lack of improvement, but was enjoyable to play
Since I did the Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm review, I thought I review my first Naruto game that I’ve ever gotten (this is the dub version). I will say this first, the game has some interesting combos and you can play it for hours against computers or your friends. But the games story is very short and there are very limited amount of characters to play as so it was very disappointing for me. Luckily, these fighting games get better as the franchise continues, although, I’ve haven’t played them yet, but I plan to real soon. Nonetheless, I’m a Naruto fan and the game was a decent start to the dub video game versions.
I’m ging it a 7 and hope for the next one to be a bit better
Sorry Part for my inactivity I’ve been busy since its my senior year, but anyways I’ve got some more great review of video games and plan to get some more during this long, and by long I mean since I’m heading to college soon and all, so I’ll be sure to keep you all informed. Expect a review tonight of my first official review of my first Naruto game Naruto Clash of Ninja.
I also have a reason for there not being another TV review is because I’m not sure what show to review yet so I’ll think of one soon… Hopefully.
As for new stuff, I plan to start a new section for rants because I’ve always wanted to rant on about something on the Internet.
So see you all later.
Yet another feat my first SNES review and a great one in fact. Before the Paper Mario’s there was one game the made Mario RPG’s so great and that was Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars. It had Mario in an RPG genre instead of platforming adventures he is usually in. I will say this much, the games story and gameplay is the best especially for the SNES. The game also provides endless hours of playing time with secrets and trials for the most hardcore players. The game also has some of the best NPC dialogue and the main characters are fun to play. Lastly, the game provides the best boss battles I’ve ever play in and get equally harder as it progresses on. My only concern is that the game, like I said before, is very hard to play sometimes and can get frustrating also.
All in all I give this awesome game a 9.5
And now here’s something completely different… a PS3 review. Anyways, I must say this is by far the best Naruto game out right now and there are many reasons. First, the game has unique and intense battles involving almost every character in the game. Second, The graphics are amazing compared to other Naruto games. Lastly, the story mode is very similar to the Anime and Manga which is a great thing for most fans. Also, the game provides hours of gameplay in the Story mode and the battles never get boring at all. My only concern is that you do a lot of travelling in the Leaf Village collecting items in order to fully complete the game which was disappointing to me.
Overall, I really like this game and is definately worth playing… 9.5
Let me take you back 12 year ago where I first started playing video games and loved almost anything I’ve played one of those was Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. I thought this side scroller was a great game, but now that I’m an adult and looking back on it I’ve decided to reconsider my first impression. First off, it had some interesting gameplay and you can play all four turtles, Leo, Raph, Donny, and Mikey, I prefer to call them this when I was a kid, and use all the weapons. Another thing good is that there are an abundance of levels to keep you playing until you lose all your slices of… Pizza. Besides all the good things, the game has its flaws like the controls, the bosses are too easy, or too hard to hard to kill, and you really just play as one character in the whole game. It is very conflicting on how to rate this game so…
I give it a 5 since it is in the middle of my rating system
I was psyched to hear that there was going to be a second version of the popular theme park games known as Roller Coaster Tycoon. The game is a fun addition to the franchise and it also showcases Six Flags theme parks to add something new to the games. Also staying true to the series it show brand new coasters and thrill rides to add new aspect to all your theme parks. The best part is that, like, the rest of the games you can replay them and create all kinds of new rides to further expand your theme park. My only concern is that the objective are either too easy or too hard depending on how you play which can lead to some dislike of this game. Other than that, I still enjoy this game and is a great step forward in the franchise.
I give this a 9
Let me start out saying… THIS IS THE WORST POKEMON GAME… no I’m joking here this isn’t a game at all. You play as umm… yourself and your main objective is to watch TV with… your Pikachu and that is pretty much it. What were the people at Nintendo thinking a game to watch TV is just weird and, by my standards, stupid. My guess is that they wanted to make a sequel to the Hey You Pikachu! game, but they quickly changed it to… this thing. Plus, the world in this game is small… I mean there is like a few locations in the entire game… that is just disappointing since the Pokemon Universe is so big. Also the voices were terrible… I even think they were archived because I don’t think the Meowth or Wobbuffet voice actors probably stayed away from it, in my opinion. The only thing good about this game is that you can get the Legendary Jirachi and I think it was the first game to feature a Pokemon short in both English and Japanese, but that isn’t enough for this thing they called a game.
I give it a 2
O and I’m also going to do Rental games, like this one for instance, because I’ve played them and thought you’d like to know how I feel about them
Now from most interesting to… the most bizarre Pokemon game ever. It isn’t even a game for the most part you control… no I mean “talk to” Pikachu in a small environment were your main objective is to just… “talk to” Pikachu. This is it and there isn’t much else to talk about it. The game did come with a microphone to attach to the controller, but it looks like a piece of plastic with a foam covering… not very impressive. Also, like most games that involve voices, the voices are very lagging and frustrating… and sometimes Pikachu is unresponsive and also dumb for not listening to what you said… Like you can say whatever you want like swears and Pikachu will think you are saying goodbye which is somewhat humorous. In the end, this… thing is just not that fun or enjoyable at all… sure it was something new, but it just wasn’t that impressive.
I give this game a 4.5
This is by far the most underrated Pokemon game, in my opinion. It is something completely different than what we seen in other Pokemon games. You play as Todd, expert Pokemon photographer, who is in search Pokemon inwhich he captures them on film rather than a ball. You may think it is boring, but it is actually fun to do. You find Pokemon and take the best picture possible to earn a high score at the end of a course. There are also all kinds of secrets that are awesome and some that are very humorous… I won’t mention them if you haven’t actually played the game. The gripe that I have with this game is that it is far to simple just point and click that is it and the game is short as well which is very disappointing especially with all the different kinds of Pokemon in their universe.
In the end, I would give it a 7.5… but I have a soft spot for Pokemon so I’ll give it an 8
