This is by far the most underrated Pokemon game, in my opinion. It is something completely different than what we seen in other Pokemon games. You play as Todd, expert Pokemon photographer, who is in search Pokemon inwhich he captures them on film rather than a ball. You may think it is boring, but it is actually fun to do. You find Pokemon and take the best picture possible to earn a high score at the end of a course. There are also all kinds of secrets that are awesome and some that are very humorous… I won’t mention them if you haven’t actually played the game. The gripe that I have with this game is that it is far to simple just point and click that is it and the game is short as well which is very disappointing especially with all the different kinds of Pokemon in their universe.
In the end, I would give it a 7.5… but I have a soft spot for Pokemon so I’ll give it an 8
I will say this I was disappointed that the new Paper Mario game wasn’t going to be an RPG because, if you read my reviews, I enjoy playing them. But that soon changed when I first played this game with new concept and gameplay that was new to the Wii. You play as Mario going through all sorts of different world to save a universe in parallel. Along for the ride as well is Peach, Luigi, and even Bowser tags along. As I said before, it has a new concept where it looks like your playing Super Mario Bros. jumping on enemies for points where in return is your level up system. The game also provides that gamer very unique boss battles that get increasingly difficult as the game goes on. On a final note, you are also accompanied by flying helps called pixl’s who use certain powers to help Mario and company. I was upset that this Paper Mario wasn’t what I expected, but it made up with something completely new to the franchise.
I give it a 9
It has been awhile since I reviewed a PC Game so I thought I finish the first Roller Coaster Tycoon trilogy if that is what you call it. Like the first two games I was expecting the same thing over again, but strangely enough I was totally wrong. The game has all sorts of new rides, challenges and parks to test your skills in owning your own theme park. My personal favorite is the unlimited money so you can buy anything with no financial problems… if only we had it in the real world. Anyways this game is the best in the whole first series and should be be played for anyone either creative or just enjoy making their own coasters and ride.
I give it a 9 for having new features and rides to enlighten the experience
Sorry, for the delays I have just been busy lately so anyways… this is by far one of the best Mario games on the NES. The game has the same concept, but it is much more expanded that what we saw in the first game. You, of course play both Mario and Luigi fighting a new source of evil spawn from Bowser (HA! HA!).. get out of here Nelson… called the Koopalings. You go throughout eight different world with impressive graphics, at the time, interesting enemies and worlds to enjoy and in the end destroy so to speak. Also all the bosses are unique and different as the game progresses and is truly enjoyable even to the most hardcore gamer and that is a lot to give to someone like that. Also you may think there isn’t replay value, but there is in a way like finding secrets to progress through this game. Overall, this is a great game and definitely worth your time to play it.
I give it a 9.5
After the success of the first game, we knew that there had to be a sequel to the great Super Mario Bros., but unfortunately that didn’t happen. Instead they made a game game from Japan into a Mario game here in the U.S. and surprisingly it is very enjoyable to play. You can not only play as Mario and Luigi, but also Toad and Princess Peach as well in order to get through this new game. All of the levels are vast and full of various secrets in order to beat the game. It also spawned all kinds of enemies like the Shy-Guys or the Ninjis. The game even has it fair share of unique boss battles and also introduced us to a new baddie named Wart the Frog. My only concerns is that some points of the game are tough even for the most experienced game and this game feels short unlike the last game, in my opinion.
But all in all, I give this worthy sequel an 8
I thought making a sequel to the first game was just going to be nothing but reapeat of what happened in the first game… I was wrong big time. In fact when I first heard about this from my cousin (Chris) while on vacation in Florida… Best trip EVER!!!… sorry I was told they were making a sequel to the first game and we thought it was a joke like the Sonic and Tails in Melee. Besides that, the game picks off what happened in the last game and Princess Peach is once againtaken prisoner by Bowser but then is taken by a new enemy the X-aunts to open the Thousand Year Door. You are Mario and you are teamed up with a whole new set of partners like a Goomba, Koopa, and a Bomb-Omb. You even face old and new enemies with interesting and unique boss battles. Another amazing thing is that Mario can transform into various paper creations like a plane or boat. Finally the best part is that you can play as Bowser in… I don’t want to spoil it for you. My only concern is that the game seems to be a bit more challenging than the first game, well for me at least, and if you beat it once the challenge factor is lessened since you know all of the things you need to do.
In the end, I give this game a 9
I must say this before I start the review… this is the redeemer for the Sonic franchise. After the flop, in my opinion, Sonic ’06, the series have finally given us a very good Sonic Game. To start off, you play as Sonic trying to save the world… again from Eggman… again only this time youare actually defeated and thus drastic changes to Sonic by becoming the Werehog. You are also teamed up with a new character, Chip, in a quest to save the world from eminent destruction. You play in all different locations around the world as both Hedgehogs (Sonic and Werehog) in the heavily detailed locations. This brings back the hold Sonic gameplay and lots more for fans of the series. But the only problem of this game would be the Werehog levels because of the repetitive gameplay and long levels and also the game wants you to do so much in each level it is almost unlikely to finish all in one try.
All in all, I give this game a 8.5
It has been a while since I did my first PC review and since I don’t play on it so much (not since the Crash of ’05… a sad year) anyways I thought I review the expansion to the first game. First off, there isn’t much of a difference from the first game to this one. There are new attractions to add more variety like a crooked house or space rings. The game also has new coaster designs and additions that the first game didn’t have before. Also, in my opinion, the challenges seem more tougher than the first game and provides the player something different than the typical have 500 guest in your park by October… It gets dull after a while. Like I said before there are only slight improvements from the first game and some are decent enough to make it a reasonable sequel.
I give it an 8
After the first two games came out, Nintendo wanted to… you guessed it make yet another Mario Party game called Mario Party 3… man they are so creative. Anyways, this game is not much different than the first two games it did have new elements like an interactive game board and new characters to play as like Daisy or Waluigi. It also featured new types of mini-games to keep fans, old and new, hooked into playing it. The game also was the first to introduce a story mode where your character has to play through each board in order to “defeat” Bowser… He isn’t as threatening in the Mario Party games, in my opinion. The only problem I have with this game is that it is just the same as the first Mario Party games instead of creating something completely different and original… Very disappointing.
Other than that, I give this game a 7.5
No I’ve done all the Pokemon games that I’ve owned on the hanhelds and now it is time tackle the console ones that I’ve owned. First off is Pokemon Stadium, this is a very interesting game because it was the first game ever where you can see your Pokemon in three dimensions, which is pretty cool for a hardcore trainer if they get tried of playing on the handheld. You can even used preset Pokemon in lv. 50 or 100 against your friends or computers. There is even a story mode were you can battle all the gym leaders and various trainers using all types of Pokemon, which makes the game more fun to play for those who get tried of playing by yourself or your friends with cheap lv.100 Pokemon using the Rare Candy code… BEST CHEAT EVER.. in a Pokemon game of course. Finally, the game also has very interesting mini-games were you play as Pokemon like Lickitung eating Sushi or Clefairies learning dancing… yeah some of the games are just weird.
In the end, I give this game a 8.5
