First off, this game was the first game on the Gamecube and I think it is the best out of the rest of the Gamecube. It has new types of games and boards to keep the fun going. Of course the high point of the game is like always the multi player mode since it is the whole reason for playing this game. The single player mode is not really worth mentioning since there is no significance at all towards the game. There are the same characters you’ve seen in the old games on the N64 and provides, just like any other Mario Party game, hours of fun gameplay. The problem with this game is that there was really no difference transitioning to the Gamecube it felt like playing fight on the N64 again. Also…. this was the last time you could play as DK which, well for me, was very dissapointing… Dang you Hudson.
In the end I gave it a 7 for lack of improvement, but was enjoyable to play
Since I did the Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm review, I thought I review my first Naruto game that I’ve ever gotten (this is the dub version). I will say this first, the game has some interesting combos and you can play it for hours against computers or your friends. But the games story is very short and there are very limited amount of characters to play as so it was very disappointing for me. Luckily, these fighting games get better as the franchise continues, although, I’ve haven’t played them yet, but I plan to real soon. Nonetheless, I’m a Naruto fan and the game was a decent start to the dub video game versions.
I’m ging it a 7 and hope for the next one to be a bit better
Let me start out saying… THIS IS THE WORST POKEMON GAME… no I’m joking here this isn’t a game at all. You play as umm… yourself and your main objective is to watch TV with… your Pikachu and that is pretty much it. What were the people at Nintendo thinking a game to watch TV is just weird and, by my standards, stupid. My guess is that they wanted to make a sequel to the Hey You Pikachu! game, but they quickly changed it to… this thing. Plus, the world in this game is small… I mean there is like a few locations in the entire game… that is just disappointing since the Pokemon Universe is so big. Also the voices were terrible… I even think they were archived because I don’t think the Meowth or Wobbuffet voice actors probably stayed away from it, in my opinion. The only thing good about this game is that you can get the Legendary Jirachi and I think it was the first game to feature a Pokemon short in both English and Japanese, but that isn’t enough for this thing they called a game.
I give it a 2
O and I’m also going to do Rental games, like this one for instance, because I’ve played them and thought you’d like to know how I feel about them
I thought making a sequel to the first game was just going to be nothing but reapeat of what happened in the first game… I was wrong big time. In fact when I first heard about this from my cousin (Chris) while on vacation in Florida… Best trip EVER!!!… sorry I was told they were making a sequel to the first game and we thought it was a joke like the Sonic and Tails in Melee. Besides that, the game picks off what happened in the last game and Princess Peach is once againtaken prisoner by Bowser but then is taken by a new enemy the X-aunts to open the Thousand Year Door. You are Mario and you are teamed up with a whole new set of partners like a Goomba, Koopa, and a Bomb-Omb. You even face old and new enemies with interesting and unique boss battles. Another amazing thing is that Mario can transform into various paper creations like a plane or boat. Finally the best part is that you can play as Bowser in… I don’t want to spoil it for you. My only concern is that the game seems to be a bit more challenging than the first game, well for me at least, and if you beat it once the challenge factor is lessened since you know all of the things you need to do.
In the end, I give this game a 9
I must say this… this is a much better than the first game. It has a more in depth storyline and a much better gameplay than what it was in the first game. It introduced us to two different stories, a Hero and Dark, and was the first game to showcase new characters like Shadow and Rouge the Bat. I will also say that there is more of a challenge in this game… I mean I couldn’t get past through the Dark levels because Rouge’s level are a real pain to play in. Besides that stories there are also battle modes so you and a friend could play in like a racing level or a shooting level with Tails or Eggman. While all of those are fun to play, some of it gets too repetitive and boring if played again, but it is a worthwhile sequel especially when it comes to Sonic video games nowadays.
I give it an 8
This my my favorite racing series overall with its zany courses to the crazy drivers you can choose from it is one of the prominent in the Mario series. First off, this game offers you to choose two drivers instead of one so that you can pick two of your favorite drivers (me its DK and Diddy, LARGE BANANAS RULES). Like the other games before it, it has plenty of courses both unique and exciting to keep you racing for hours. The game also has more racing modes which can be fun for those die-hards who want to be challenged. The only flaw is that after you beat it there is nothing else to do which is very dissapointing.
I give this an 8
I’m not that in to sport games at all, but when it comes to the SSX snowboarding that is where I draw the line. Like the previous games, all you do is just snowboard, perform bizarre tricks, and beat others in races. The career mode in this game is fine and there are plenty of things to do in this mode. The multiplayer is fun also and the characters are a very interesting bunch to say the least. My concern is that the game is too easy and it gets too repetitive after a while… but it is still worth buying for anyone that is a fan of the series.
I give it a 8.5
I will say this… this game is so addictive. I mean that in a good way because the game is everlasting and could play it well.. forever if you wanted too. You start off as a new resident in your new house trying to earn bells and start a new life in your town. You can make friends with your neighbors, do errands for them, buy furniture and even visit other in different towns. Their are also other unique features to the game like a secret island, holiday events and other things as well. The problem is that after a while you may start to get bored of the repetitive gameplay and will stop playing…
Besides that I give this a 9
The game is a whole bunch of Namco originals ranging from Pac-man to Dig Dug. I will say it will save money from the cabinets that hold the games.. that is if they are still around. The game are just like the original games just used with a controller instead of a Joystick and button. The are fun to play and have a great variety of games. The problem with the game is that there aren’t a lot of them in this game and a little of a disappointment for those who want to play something else other than Ms. Pac-Man or Galaga.
Overall this game gets a 7.5 for giving us originals on the console, but for lack of games
I must say this game could have been a whole lot better. First off the voiceovers is terrible I mean there mouths don’t even match with at all. Also this game is very easy and can be finished in hours that is if you can stand watching this at all. Finally, the game seemed to have been rushed because of shotty design and the awfully camera angles. The only thing that kept this from getting a low review is the Gamma levels, but that can’t save this game at all sadly.
I give this a 6… WoW the first low score Ever O_0
Also I plan to do two to three reviews each day since I have so many games
